Raul Kieran Rutnam / Rutnam Properties
Raul Kieran Rutnam obtained his Part I accreditation in 2016 from De Montfort University, and recently completed his Masters Degree at the renowned Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) in 2022, achieving a Merit and Part II accreditation. During his time at UCL, he studied in Unit 18, under the guidance of esteemed tutors Ricardo De Ostos and Isaie Bloch.
One of Raul's notable achievements is the completion of his thesis titled 'Metamorphosis in Architectural Image-Making & Achieving Exuberance in Architectural Woodcraft.' This captivating body of research delved into the realms of digital tooling and ornamentation. Under the expert supervision of his thesis tutor, Oliver Domeisen, he explored innovative approaches to architectural design that blended craftsmanship, technology, and aesthetics.
Raul's passion extends to the preservation of traditional handcraft in the digital era.
